HOW FAR IN ADVANCE DO I NEED TO ORDER MY CAKE?

Please try to order your cake as soon as possible. Cakes and Toppers should be booked up to 1 month in advance with Wedding Cakes ideally 6 months. I may be able to take orders closer to the date but this depends on my availability. Please ring me, email me, or fill in the contact form.

 

WHAT SIZE CAKE DO I NEED?

My portion guide is intended as a guide only. The number of people a cake will feed will vary dependant upon how the cake is cut.

 

 

DO YOU REQUIRE A DEPOSIT?

The deposit is 50% of the value of the order and secures your slot in the diary.

WHEN DO I NEED TO PAY THE BALANCE FOR MY CAKE?

For Wedding cakes the balance needs to be fully paid prior to delivery or collection (cheques are not accepted for final payment).

For other cakes either the transferal of the final 50% remainder into the Cakes By Anna account 3 days before collection or cash to balance on collection is acceptable. Contact Anna if you require further clarification.

DO YOU OFFER ALLERGY-FREE CAKES?

Cakes can be made without gluten ingredients, egg free, lactose free, alcohol free etc, just ask.

HOW MUCH ARE YOUR CAKES?

Prices vary according to the size and complexity of the cake. Basic costs are detailed on this website albeit for a more accurate quote please contact Anna to discuss your requirements.

 

WHAT FLAVOURS OF CAKE CAN I HAVE?

Just about any, within reason! The most popular remain chocolate, vanilla and lemon but if your heart's desire is a banana cake, then let Anna know and she will see what can be done! It truly is a bespoke service. Click here for Anna’s flavour menu.

 

CAN I HAVE DIFFERENT FLAVOURS IN MY TIERED CAKE?

Of course you can! If a mixture of fruit cake and sponge is required I would advise on having the fruit cake at the base given its weight. A mixture of different flavoured tiered sponges are very popular and can give people a variety of choice!

 

WHAT ARE YOUR OPENING TIMES?

Monday to Friday 9:00 to 17:00

If you require assistance at the weekend please email and I will do my best to respond ASAP.

Cakes can be baked for and delivered or collected on a weekend during out of hours, but this will have to be prior agreed when ordering.
